How does the registration process work now?
Captains submit teams, but each person registers individually. During registration, you choose on your own from the submitted teams the one you want to join. A team’s registration is complete when at least 12 people have joined, including four women and individuals of four different nationalities.
Why do more details need to be provided now?
From 2026 until mid-2029, Etnoliga is implemented as part of the project “Do jednej bramki. Aktywna integracja cudzoziemców na Mazowszu” (FAMI.02.01-IZ.00-0046/25), which is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund under the European Funds for Migration, Borders, and Security program.

Thanks to this, Etnoliga gains stable funding and opportunities for development. This is very good news – but it also comes with new formal requirements that did not exist before: every person participating in the project must be specifically identified, and the organizers must be able to demonstrate who is actually taking part in the activities.

We know that participation in Etnoliga used to be largely anonymous. Now this is changing—not by our choice, but due to the rules linked to funding.

What does it mean for me?
We ask you to fill out a form in which we request basic identification details and the type and number of the document that allows you to stay in Poland. For EU citizens, providing the series and number of the document (ID card) is sufficient; for other participants, a few more detailed questions will appear.

After completing the form, we will print it out and ask you to sign it before your first match. Important! Please bring the document(s) you listed in the form on that day—we need to see them to verify the information.

Is my personal data safe?
Your data is used exclusively for the proper implementation and documentation of the project. It is not published or shared with unauthorized persons – we are bound by personal data protection regulations (GDPR).

Authorized monitoring and control institutions may request access to the data only to the extent necessary to carry out an inspection and only based on applicable legal provisions (data is not shared automatically).

As a rule, control institutions receive anonymized data – instead of your name and surname, a randomly assigned identification number is provided, along with information confirming eligibility to participate in the project, without document numbers or other data allowing direct identification.

If a control institution wishes to contact a project participant, this can only be done with your consent or through the Foundation.

I am a minor
In this case, we ask that your legal guardian contact us so that we can complete the registration form together.
Will I need to provide my data before each edition?
No, this information is collected only once during the project, so we will not ask you for it again until mid-2029.
I don’t want my name on the list of players
Select the appropriate option during registration.
I don’t want to provide my data
Please contact us individually – we will discuss your situation. However, we must be clear: as a rule, not providing your data means you cannot participate in the project, because it is required by the funding rules.
I don’t want to provide my data online
If you don’t feel comfortable with the online form, please contact us, and we will give you the option to complete a paper form.
I have another issue
If you have any questions or concerns, we are here to help. We want to ensure that Etnoliga remains open, safe, and fair, including from a formal standpoint.
