What do we teach?
Soccer skills and technique.
Motor and sensory skills that form the foundation of health and well-being.
Balanced competition, understood as the ability to function in a group, work together toward a shared goal, and engage in healthy rivalry with other groups.
Self-awareness of one’s feelings and emotions, as well as empathy and understanding the underlying reasons for other people’s behavior.
The ability to name and understand values, to assess others’ actions appropriately, to refer to shared principles when making judgments, and to set boundaries.
History of the academy
We have been organizing soccer training sessions since 2012. When the idea of learning through sport proved highly effective within Etnoliga, we decided to transfer this experience into regular work with children and young people. At first, our sessions were attended mainly by the youngest participants from the refugee center in Targówek, and over time more participants joined—of different ages and from various parts of the world.
After the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, for nearly two years we ran additional training groups for residents of a collective accommodation center. Our experience is not limited to soccer alone—we have also conducted volleyball, swimming, and yoga classes.
