Introduction
The data processed on this website is administered by the Foundation for Freedom based in Warsaw (00-364) at ul. Ordynacka 9, Poland. To contact us, please send a message to the e-mail address info@fundacjadlawolnosci.org or send letter to our post address.
All data is collected to the extent necessary for the performance of contracts and provision of services, communication with beneficiaries and donors, and efficient management of our websites and are used only for these purposes.
Website
During the visit on our website, users’ data such as the IP address, browser type, operating system type and the domain name from which the user enters our site are automatically collected. We use them to generate statistics of visits to our site. The data collected is not associated with specific people browsing our site. Users can use our site anonymously, we do not require registration and no we seek identification, unless it is necessary due to the nature of the action taken, i.e. in the case of donation.
Cookie files
Our websites uses text files known colloquially as cookies. These files are not used by us to obtain any data identifying users of our website or tracking their navigation. Each website user can block and limit the installation of cookies, e.g. using the settings of your browser.
The described privacy protection rules apply only to websites located in the following domains: fundacjadlawolnosci.org and etnoliga.org. We are not responsible for the privacy policy of other websites to which links can be found on our site.
Beneficiaries
Participants of our activities may be asked to provide additional information about themselves, such as phone number, e-mail, gender or citizenship. Providing these data takes place through on-line or paper registration forms and is entirely voluntary, although refusal may cause in inability to participate in the project. Data of beneficiaries are processed only for the purpose of communication and efficient project management and are never transferred to other entities, unless such requests are requested by authorized institutions based on relevant regulations.
Participant data may be shared with other participants as long as a separate agreement is provided. Providing data during the evaluation (including entities cooperating with us) is voluntary, does not involve the lack of opportunities to participate in the project, and the data itself is never published in a way that allows identification with specific persons.
Protection of the personal image
In the course of our activities, we often keep their photographic or film documentation. As far as a separate agreement is not required for the dissemination of the image of a person constituting only a detail of the whole, (ie: public event), in case of portraits and close-ups of the face, each time we ask for a separate agreement.
Donors
You can support the our Foundation financially by transferring donations to a our bank account or via Paypal or PayU system that supports online payments in Polish banks and through cards.
Bank account
In case of a donation given to us by bank transfer, we process personal data provided to us by the bank, ie: name and surname, account number, donation amount, address. It is necessary to perform the contract and fulfill the legal obligations imposed on the Foundation (eg. on the basis of accounting regulations). Additional information provided in the title of the transfer (eg. e-mail address) is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest to send thanks for your support. For the same purpose, we also use addresses from bank transfers of people donating us.
PayPal and PayU
In case of a donation made through PayPal or PayU, separate regulations are used, in which we ask you, among others, to provide your name and surname, donation amount, as well as an address or e-mail address, which are necessary for the technical handling of payments, as well as for the performance of the contract and fulfillment of legal obligations of the Foundation. Providing the data is voluntary, but necessary to transfer donation. The e-mail address also serves us to send thanks for your support.
People transferring 1% of the tax
We receive from the tax office the details of people who gave us 1% of their tax in case they indicated in the tax form the consent to provide us with their data. These are: name and surname of the taxpayer and his/her spouse, address, amount of transferred tax amount and any additional information included in the PIT section regarding 1%. We process the data to thank you for your support.
Data storage
Most of the data is stored in electronic forms: primarily on office computers, rented server, external drives and in telephones. We process data using IT tools: e-mail and cloud for file storage. Some data is stored in the paper form. We share personal data to external company that provides accounting services for the Foundation (this applies to data of persons supporting us with donations). This entity operates on the basis of a contract of entrustment and is equally obliged to protect personal data.
Rights of data owners
All people whose data we process have the right to access their data, the right to obtain a copy of the data, as well as the right to request rectification and – in certain cases – to remove or limit their processing.
Individuals whose data we process on the basis of our legitimate interest (eg. in case of sending thanks to donors and people transferring 1% of tax), may object, stating that they do not wish us to use thjeir data in this way. Contracts (eg. donations) may be terminated on the basis of legal terms or in the contract itself. If we process data based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. In these two cases (when we process data on the basis of a contract or consent), the persons whose data we process are also entitled to request the transfer of their data.
